Eucharist marks Academy's Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday 2012 was particularly memorable for the Academy's Year 8 students, as it was marked by their first Eucharist. The year group took part in the Lenten Eucharist, and spent some time thinking about this season of reflection. Students watched as their sins went up in flames as an act of confession, and each student had the opportunity to recieve communion Joined by Parents and Governors, our students were a real credit to the Academy, treating the occasion with the respect it deserved.
