All Saints Community Project

Based in the All Saints Church Community Centre on Magpie Hall Road, the project runs a variety of activities for old and young alike. Below is a summary of some of their main projects. for more information, get in touch with the project:

Computer Training
Takes place at All Saints Uk Online Centre, All Saints Church, Magpie Hall Road. Open to adults of all ages and all abilities offering basic training through to qualifications. Variety of sessions on weekdays Monday to Friday.

Adult Literacy and Numeracy
Offered by Metcic at All Saints Church and Glencoe School. Contact All Saints Community Project for more information.

Have a Go Sessions
Friday mornings 9.30 - 11.30 am during term time. Open to adults of all ages at a cost of £1 per session. Opportunity to have a go at a variety of crafts. Creche provided for children under 5.

Lunch Club
1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month starting at 1.00pm. Open to adults over 45 years of age. Two course hot meal plus a social activity provided for cost of £2.

CV Training
For adults in the community opportunity to have a CV prepared. Sessions held twice monthly on Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 1.30pm.

Pram Club
Held on Thursday afternoons during term time from 1.00pm to 2.30pm. Open to adults and pre-school children. Opportunity to socialise with other parent/carers.

TGF/Pathfinders Youth Club
Friday evenings for young people aged 11-18 years old. Open during term time from 7.00pm to 9.00 pm. Cost of session £1

Walking Group
2nd Saturday of month the walking group meets at All Saints Church Car Park in Listmas Road at 10.30 am. The group is open to adults and children accompanied by adults. Cost of attending is £1 per session plus the cost of bus fare on 101 walks.

Sam's Place After School Club
Ofsted Registered affordable after school care held each evening during term time to help working parents. Walking Bus to collect children from All Saints Primary School, New Road Primary School, Glencoe Junior School, Greenvale Infant School and Luton Infant and Junior School. Children can remain until 6.00 pm or 6.15 pm. Variety of activities on offer and snack provided for the children attending.

Sam's Place Holiday Play Scheme
Ofsted Registered Holiday Play Scheme held at New Road School during every holiday except Christmas. Care available from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm each day Monday to Friday. Activities plus trips out. Contact All Saints Community Project to find out more.

Advice and Information
Community Project staff are able to provide advice and information on a variety of issues. Contact All Saints Community Project Office to book an appointment and find out about training and assistance on offer.

NVQs
All Saints Community Project is able to offer NVQs in Business Administration, Advice and Guidance and Team Leading at very reasonable costs to adults of all ages.
