Welcome to the Bishop of Rochester Academy

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Bishop of Rochester Academy Website. As you browse these pages, we hope you will get an impression of the Academy Community we are developing here in Chatham. What you won't get a sense of is the buzz that exists as our new building takes shape and we expand the range of opportunities available to our students. The variety of extra-curricular activities on offer is growing and new sports such as rugby have been welcomed enthusiastically. The Academy's excellent reputation for Music also continues to flourish.

We have a strong leadership team, led by our newly appointed Principal Mr. Colin Boxall, and an equally strong Governing Body. We are proud of our Christian Ethos, which guides us in our work, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our students get the best possible educational experience during their time at the Academy. We seek to be at the heart of our local community, and know that you will find a warm welcome when you visit.

Chair of Governors
