There will be two broad groups:
- 150 ‘open’ places, open to anyone
- Up to 90 ‘foundation’ places for students from three local Church of England primary schools: All Saints’ C of E Primary School, Chatham; St Mary’s Island C of E Primary School, Chatham; St Margaret’s C of E Junior School, Rainham.
Unallocated foundation places will become open places.
Oversubscription: If the number of preferences for the either category above is more than the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following priority order:
- children in public care;
- children who at the time of application have a brother or sister (including children living as siblings in the same family unit) on the roll of the school and who will still be on roll at the time of the sibling’s admission;
- Those living nearest the academy based on the measured distance using using Medway Council’s GIS system and procedure.
